Entry Door / Patio Door / French Door Replacement Frames - plastic door glass frames for older doors become faded, cracked or warped from age and years in the sun and UV light. New frames can  improve the look and feel of your doors and properly secure the glass. New plastic frames are more durable and heat resistant as they are made from high performance new age plastics and polymers that can be painted to match the overall look of your door and your home. We offer the maintenance free white color as well as a tan color that comes primed for painting or staining. Our kits replace the original frames on many old door brands.

How to Measure Door Glass Width and Height for Replacement Frames                   How to Measure Door Glass Thickness for Replacement Frames

1. Measure the outside length and width of your existing frames (see picture above). Measure along the face of the door from the outside corner to outside corner of the frame (width and height, not diagonally). 

2. Measure the exact overall thickness of your insulated glass door insert (the "sandwich" of both pieces of glass and the gap of insulating air / spacer bar in between. 

3. You may need to unscrew enough of the interior frame to squeeze a tape measure in between the frames to determine the glass overall thickness.

4. Normally these will measure 1/2", 3/4" or a full 1"

5. PLEASE NOTE:  If your glass is 3/4" O.D. you will have to replace the glass and the frame assembly since frames for 3/4" glass thickness are discontinued.

 

Model # 4RF-66D-P07S0, Full Lite 15 Grid, 24" x 66" Frame Kit for 1/2" Glass - These white frames are made of high-quality maintenance free polypropylene, so they do not require paint. If you do choose to paint or stain these frames, you will need an adhesion promoting primer like Sherwin Williams products. 

  • Frame outside dimensions: 24" x 66" (replaces frames 23 1/2" to 24" wide and 65 1/2" to 66" tall)
  • For glass dimensions: 1/2" thick (O.D.) - 22" wide X 64" high.
  • Glass Is Not Included.
  • Frames require premium 100% silicone caulking for best installation.
