How Do I Figure Out What Year My Window Was Made?

Are these old parts still available for my old wood casement / awning window?

My Old Windows Will Not Crank In / Out Any More - can you help?

GLASS IDENTIFICATION: How Do I Figure Out What Brand or Type Of Window Glass I have? Finding the window brand or manufacturer on my windows and doors - The simpleest way to identify a window brand is by locating a name or logo of the manufacturer itself on the product - Truth or EntryGard stampings on the old hardware -- Many companies, like Acorn, Biltbest, Caradco, Hurd, Rivco, Marvin, Andersen. Oldach and others will stamp their name on window hardware — on the crank handle covers, the operators, the sash locks or other proprietary window hardware parts; Look carefully at the "spacer bar" -- the silver spacer between the two panes of glass -- many times a name or logo, or very small lettering is stamped into the spacer bar .. companies like Marvin, Keller, Malta, Oldach, Outlook, Biltbest and others have their names or initials stamped in the spacer bar channel; Some like Marvin , Integrity, Guardian, PGT, PPG, Andersen, Shelter, Windsor and others etch their names in the corner of the glass; Some don't put their company name anywhere on the window - Crestline, Peachtree, SNE, Vetter and others are known to do this - they put a alpha-numeric code on their products.
